I will take 10,000 words of your novel and use Track Changes to copyedit your text and generate a style sheet for your work. The intervention for the Teach10,000 is a comprehensive copyedit and will include writing tips and any comments and suggestions with regard to setting, characters, tone, flow, voice etc. The aim is to teach you how to improve your novel and your writing so you can apply that knowledge to the rest of your book. This will ultimately save you money when it comes to editing the rest of your manuscript.

Once I have finished your edit, you have the option of booking an online meeting where I will take you through my comments and suggestions. I will use my skills as an editor and English tutor to help you improve your writing techniques. I will also teach you how to continue adding to the style sheet.

This service provides an excellent opportunity for new writers to increase their knowledge about writing styles and grammar or for more experienced writers to take breath and really look at their writing and discover any bad habits they may have developed and how to fix them. My observations on your story and characters will also give you insights into how your story is coming across to the reader.
